（中央社記者溫貴香台北10日電）獨立總統參選人施明德今天批評，民主進步黨總統參選人蔡英文不參加辯論是台灣政治的「西瓜現象」，不符合前例及國際標準。
談到蔡英文尚未接受四報一社（中央通訊社、中國時報、自由時報、聯合報與蘋果日報）與公共電視合辦的總統辯論會，施明德上午受訪說，不辯論，躺著就可以當選了，就是台灣政治的「西瓜現象」，這種「西瓜現象」太明顯，不要辯論就可以選上，不符合前例也不符合國際標準。
施明德反問，台灣人民願意接受這種「西瓜現象」、空白授權來決定台灣的未來嗎？總統參選人不參加總統辯論，那是不可以。1041210
